His foster family calls him Arlo, and he’s been winning everyone over since day one. Glimmer is a confident, curious little guy who has been impressing his foster family from the start. He walks right into his crate at bedtime and is sleeping beautifully overnight, waking appropriately to let you know when he needs a potty break. He thrives on routine and is already showing wonderful early habits. This smart boy is observant and eager to learn. He’s sitting for meals, responds well to “no,” and has been respectful around free-range chickens — pretty impressive for such a young pup. He loves toys, enjoys exploring, and recently decided that snow is actually very fun, confidently marching right into the deep stuff like a little adventurer. He’s great with other dogs and good with cats, showing the easygoing, social nature that makes him such a joy in foster care. He would enjoy a home with a canine buddy to grow up with — but he’d also do well as your one and only, happily soaking up all the attention. He is already showing all the qualities that make labs such wonderful family dogs — affectionate, intelligent, adaptable, and eager to be part of it all. Whether it’s joining in playtime, learning something new, or curling up nearby at the end of the day, he wants to be right in the middle of family life. Glimmer’s journey began with resilience. During a chilly Southern winter, his brave mama sought shelter in an abandoned house and brought her babies into the world on her own. Just before a winter storm swept through South Carolina, rescue partners discovered the little family and brought them to safety. Because of her strength — and that timely rescue — Glimmer is now safe, thriving, and ready for his forever home. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption.
