Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua (short coat). Meet Bunny! Bunny is a 2.5‑pound pocket‑sized heart‑melter. Her greatest joy is curling up in a warm lap. She’s playful, curious, and getting impressively good at fetch for someone who can fit in your hand. The world is big and sometimes surprising when you’re this tiny, but Bunny is brave and growing more confident every day. She’s working on potty training, learning that crates aren’t personal insults (but still not a fan), and discovering that not everything is meant for her sharp little puppy teeth. If you’re dreaming of a devoted lap dog, Bunny is an Olympic‑level contender. Bunny is a tiny fragile puppy and for this reason we will only place her with children over 10. For senior citizens, pups this size are a trip hazard. Bunny is on a puppy vaccination schedule, is microchipped and dewormed. She will be spayed between 8-12 months, at our cost. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at .savinggreatanimals and fill out an application. Overview:
The Chihuahua, a captivating breed known for its diminutive size, boasts an ancient and somewhat mysterious origin, with most theories pointing to Mexico as its birthplace, potentially descending from the "Techichi," a small companion dog of the Toltec civilization. Physically, they are easily recognizable by their small, compact bodies, large expressive eyes, and erect ears, appearing in both smooth and long-coated varieties, showcasing a vast array of colors and markings. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers. Regarding health, Chihuahuas can be prone to certain conditions like patellar luxation, heart problems, and dental issues, making regular veterinary check-ups crucial for their well-being.
