Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Cooper Cooper is a fun-loving, people-oriented guy who truly shines when he’s with his person. He loves to hang out, be part of the action, and soak up companionship. His previous owner shared that he’s great with kids, housebroken, crate trained, and will politely whine to let you know when he needs to go outside. This playful pup has lots of energy and enthusiasm for life. He enjoys other dogs—especially dogs his own size or larger—and does well with them. He also knows some basics like “sit” and “lay down,” and rides well in the car (with a little whining at first). Cooper was recently adopted and returned because he was simply too much for the smaller dogs in the home. He plays big and bold, and while he gets along well with larger dogs, his excitement can overwhelm tiny companions. Because of this, Cooper would do best in a home with larger dogs. He may also chase cats, so a cat-free home is recommended.
