Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mountain Cur / Mixed (short coat). Abigail is a 4-year-old female Pit/Cur mix who must be spayed before adoption. She was brought in by county animal control; and no owner came to claim her. Abigail has a dilute brindle coat with white markings on her chest. She weighs 50 pounds; so she is considered to be a large dog. Abigail is a sweet and pleasant dog who was a little bit scared but has warmed up to staff. She would be good with children; but if you have another dog we would require a meet and greet with your dog to make sure they get along well. This calm and kind hearted girl will make a great family dog. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
