Dog Breed: Cocker Spaniel / Newfoundland Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Carlton is a happy little spaniel mix who loves all the people he meets. He enjoys his toys and makes them last. He likes water playtime and his shelter bestie is a female Pittie. Carlton is a little over a year old and spent most of his life suffering with a ruptured eyeball. When he came into our care, our veterinarian removed the bothersome bits, and after a little cosmetic surgery, he's just perfect. Carlton weighs about 50 pounds (he can stand to trim down a bit) and is neutered, vaccinated, is heartworm negative, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. He is located in Monticello, MS and appointments to meet him are available weekdays as well as evenings and weekends. His adoption fee is $100. You can reach a volunteer at 769-281-8202.
