This brindle beauty busted out the Imperial County Animal Control facility in El Centro, California. She is now being fostered by a wonderful family who think that she is an amazing dog and deserves a family of her own. She does amazing with other dogs and kids. Lily (Stripes) is looking for a stable home that will love her and never abandoned her the way her old owners did. This is a perfect apartment dog says she does not require a lot of space to run around, her main focus is to be loved on and be with a family. Lily loves the outdoors, but she also loves to sleep on a soft bed and does not mind being inside a kennel. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
