Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / Boxer / Mixed (medium coat). The Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center has a large number of animals just waiting for adoption. And we receive new "adoptees" every day, so add our website to your "favorites" list and visit us often. .talgov/animals Blue is a 54-pound boy who was originally adopted from the shelter as a puppy in 2023 but was recently returned when his owner had to move and couldnât take him along. Heâs finding the shelter environment a little uncomfortable, but his sweet nature still shines through. Blue is good on a leash and has a gentle, calm personality. His former owner shared that heâs active, playful, and loves people. He has experience living with children ages 5 to 12 and especially enjoys playing with balls. Blue is also house trained and crate trained, which will help him settle into a new home more easily. If there are other dogs in the home, heâll just need to meet them first. This sweet boy is ready to find another loving family to call his own.
