Dog Breed: Chihuahua. Meet Milo — a Sweet, Resilient Little Survivor Milo (SC) is a twoyearold male Chihuahua with an enormous heart and an irresistible charm. We pulled him from a shelter after he ended up there through no fault of his own; he had been attacked by another animal and urgently needed care. He’s now safe with our veterinary partner, where he’s being treated for wounds on his neck, chest, and back. Even with everything he has endured, Milo remains the gentlest, sweetest boy. He adores people, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets kindness with soft eyes and a hopeful spirit. Milo is adorable, loving, and ready for a fresh start. He deserves a family who will cherish him and show him the safety and affection he’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion with a brave heart, Milo is waiting. Physically, they are easily recognizable by their small, compact bodies, large expressive eyes, and erect ears, appearing in both smooth and long-coated varieties, showcasing a vast array of colors and markings. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
