Description
Dog Breed: Doberman Pinscher (medium coat). Hi, Iâm Momo! A Doberman with long legs, a big heart, and absolutely no concept of âjust a short walk.â Walks are my favorite thing in the whole world. The second I see the leash, itâs game on. My ears perk up, my tail gets going, and Iâm ready to explore everything!! Every smell, every sound, every moving leaf. Outside is my happy place. The faster we go, the better. And oh⦠the zoomies. They arrive without warning. One second Iâm standing calmly, the next Iâm a blur of legs racing across the yard like Iâve just remembered something extremely important. As much as I love moving, I love being near my people even more. If youâre home, Iâm close. If you sit down, Iâll find a way to lean on you. I may look sleek and tough, but Iâm really just a big baby who wants to be part of everything youâre doing. And food? Yes, please. I am highly enthusiastic about meals, snacks, crumbs, and anything that might possibly be edible. Iâm Momo ... runner, zoomie champion, professional walker, loyal shadow, and full-time food enthusiast. Life is better when weâre moving together!

Overview:
The Doberman Pinscher is a sleek and powerful breed originating from Germany in the late 19th century, specifically developed by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann for protection. Known for their striking, athletic build, Dobermans typically possess a short, glossy coat that comes in black, red, blue, or fawn, often with rust-colored markings. Their temperament is a fascinating blend of loyalty, intelligence, and alertness, making them exceptional guardians and devoted companions. While highly trainable and eager to please, they require early socialization and consistent training to channel their energy and protectiveness appropriately. Dobermans can thrive in active families who can provide ample exercise and mental stimulation, but their need for space and activity generally makes them less suitable for small apartment living unless exceptionally well-exercised. Regarding health, they are predisposed to certain conditions like Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), Von Willebrand's Disease, and Wobbler Syndrome, so responsible breeding and veterinary care are paramount.
