Dog Breed: Beagle / Mixed. Meet Trixie! This sweet 10-week-old, thought to be a Beagle mix, came into rescue alongside her momma and five siblings. Based on her mom’s size (around 30 lbs) and Trixie's current weight of 8lbs, she's expected to grow into a happy, medium-sized dog when fully grown. She’s bursting with energy and curiosity. Always ready for her next adventure, she loves playing with all kinds of small toys, though her absolute favorite is a tennis ball. She happily pushes it around with her nose or paws and chases it all over the house. Trixie also loves running outside in the snow and playing with other dogs. Like the Energizer Bunny, she keeps going and going until it’s finally time for bed. While she does take short naps throughout the day, anything that catches her eye quickly brings her right back into play mode. When she’s worn out from a day full of adventures, Trixie enjoys cuddling during her quick napsand settling into her crate to wind down for the night.
