Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY. Alex was rescued from a high kill shelter in the south. She arrived in NY on 2/21/26 staying with a foster family. She is hoping to find her forever family. Alex is thick, buff, and built for adventure! This strong, confident girl loves to explore the world nose-first and then reward herself by plopping that big beautiful head right in your lap for a well-earned, hard nap after playtime. She’s a foodie at heart — kibble and treats are life — and her absolute favorite activity is scattered treat time (yes, the snow treasure hunt game!). Sprinkle some treats and watch her happily search and sniff with total joy. Alex is incredibly soft, an elite cuddle buddy, and loves a good wrestling match with her dog friends. She’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun followed by snuggles. If you’re looking for a strong, sweet, adventure buddy who doubles as a weighted blanket… Alex is your girl.
