When he came into rescue, he was fighting for every breath. He had suffered severe head trauma, his tiny body swollen and bleeding, and one of his eyes so damaged it could not be saved. No puppy should ever endure that kind of pain. And yet… Scooter held on. Thanks to emergency surgery and roundtheclock care, this brave WireHaired Jack Russell Terrier mix is finally on the other side of the worst. He’s healing, he’s safe, and for the first time, he’s discovering what it feels like to be loved. Even with one eye, Scooter sees the world with astonishing joy. He’s sweet, affectionate, and full of that classic terrier spark—energetic, curious, and always ready to bounce into your arms.
