Description
Dog Breed: Beagle / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). WE ARE IN FOSTER AND NOT AT THE SHELTER. WE WILL BE ARRIVING AT THE SHELTER ON WEDNESDAY FEB 18th, AT 10 AM TO MEET POTENTIAL ADOPTERS!!!!! Meet Our Beagle-Mix Cuties! Bluey, Hercules, and Chewy (males) and Angel, Coco Chanel, and Ruby (females) are an adorable litter of 8-week-old puppies looking for their forever homes. They came to us as strays, and while we canât guarantee breed identification, they are suspected beagle mixes. Their mom is around 40 pounds, so adopters can expect a medium-sized dog once grown. If these pups do have beagle in them, you can look forward to some classic beagle traitsâcurious noses, playful personalities, and lots of affection. Beagles are known for being friendly, social, and people-oriented, as well as smart and eager to explore the world (especially if thereâs an interesting scent involved!). Like most hound mixes, theyâll benefit from positive training, enrichment, and daily activity to keep their minds and bodies happy. As with all stray puppies, their exact breed mix, size, and adult temperament canât be guaranteed, but what is guaranteed is that these babies are full of potential and ready to grow into loving family companions. If youâre ready for the fun, commitment, and joy of raising a puppy, one of these sweet faces might be the perfect addition to your home. Come meet them and let the puppy love begin! ?? Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes: - initial canine distemper combination vaccination - first worming or stool check - rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age) - 24 Petwatch microchipping - flea treatment/preventative - spaying or neutering -heartworm testing Adoption fee: $235.00 Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20) All dogs come with free leash and collar.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Labbe, an increasingly popular designer dog breed, is a delightful mix of the outgoing Beagle and the loyal Labrador Retriever. Originating from the desire to combine the best traits of both parents, Labbes are known for their medium size, typically weighing between 30-70 pounds, and possessing a sturdy, athletic build. Their coats are usually short and dense, varying in color like their Lab parents, and their ears often retain the Beagle's charming flop. Temperamentally, Labbes are renowned for being friendly, intelligent, and generally good-natured, making them excellent family pets that thrive on companionship. While adaptable, their moderate energy levels mean they benefit from regular exercise and are best suited for homes with yards, although they can adapt to apartment living with sufficient outdoor activity. Potential health considerations, inherited from their parent breeds, can include hip and elbow dysplasia, ear infections, and certain eye conditions, making responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups crucial for these engaging companions.
