He arrived alongside Lily A5754121 (possibly his mom) and Cheech A5754122 , showing he’s used to being part of a family unit. Pete is a big, handsome boy who is understandably nervous in the shelter environment. During his assessment, he displayed fear-based defensiveness in the kennel, suggesting he feels overwhelmed rather than reactive by nature. Through the kennel bars, he has calm interactions with other dogs. Pete will need confidence-building, slow introductions, and a patient, experienced adopter. An adults-only home is recommended to give him the stability and understanding he needs to feel secure. With time and trust, this loyal Shepherd has so much love to give.
