Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Hound / Mixed. Haven is a 4-month-old, 13-pound mixed breed pup—possibly Lab/Hound—who arrived with her three siblings and has been thriving in foster care ever since. She’s making great progress with housetraining and is catching on quickly. While crate training is still a work in progress (she’d much rather be near her people!), she’s improving every day. Haven gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is currently learning her leash manners. She has not yet been exposed to cats, but with proper introductions and ongoing support, she could potentially become cat-friendly. True to her affectionate nature, Haven is a total Velcro pup. She adores her people, loves to cuddle, and is always happy to curl up for a nap by your side. She’s eager to please, highly intelligent, and already picking up good habits by watching the other dogs—traits that will make her a joy to continue training. Like any young puppy, Haven will thrive with consistency, patience, and lots of love as she grows into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. She is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 2/22/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.
