Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200. Meet Dotty! This adorable pied princess is bursting with personality and ready to find her forever home! Dotty is an energetic little sweetheart who loves life at full speed — whether she’s chasing birds across the yard or zooming like the wind, this girl has zoomies for days! Dotty gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, and she has a special soft spot for the ladies. The gentlemen can absolutely win her over too — just let her come to you on her own terms and bring treats! Once she decides you’re one of her people, you’ll have a devoted little shadow for life. She’s a cuddle bug at heart and would love nothing more than to curl up at the foot of your bed after a big day of adventures. She’s a social butterfly who greets her favorite people with all the kisses (we mean ALL of them), and when she gets really excited, she just might do a happy little wiggle-piddle — because sometimes joy is just too big to contain! Dotty is still growing in confidence with big outside noises like trucks and mechanical sounds, and she’s working on her leash manners like the good student she is. She does best with a crate when left alone for longer stretches — her own cozy den to relax in. The perfect home for Dotty would have a yard with room to run, patient humans who will cheer her on as she blossoms, and a patient fur sibling who doesn’t mind sharing the spotlight — or the foot of the bed! Could you be Dotty’s person? All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
