Description
Dog Breed: Pomeranian / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). DOB: 11/1/2020 Approx. Weight: 24.8 Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Stella Mae is what they call a Pomsky.... part Pomeranian and part Husky. Stella Mae is right at that perfect size.... not to small not to big at 24pds. She is all fluffy, soft fur . Stella Mae came to us when her family had a divorce. You can tell she was greatly loved by them. She has a sweet and playful personality. Stella Mae makes friends with all the dogs she meets . Stella Mae will play with any size of dog and if they don't want to play, she will just hang out with them, if they want. She loves stuffy toys! So far she hasn't destroyed any of them which is very unusual because all the other dogs in her foster family does. Stella Mae came into her foster home loving every person. She confidently with tail wagging met the husband and wife. She acted like they were her best friends. She is a confident little lady. She was raised with a little girl so we know she loves children. Stella is crate trained and housebroken.... kind of. She will go outside to potty but she will also use a potty pad if one is left out for her. She was walked on a leash to go potty outside and a potty pad was put down inside her home. Stella Mae has been trained to use one if needed. So, we put a large one near the door and she uses it if needed. Stella Mae hasn't barked yet in her new foster home but she gives a whine and twirls for to get attention. Like a little ballerina! Stella is going to make some lucky family a wonderful companion. Get your application in today! I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. Breed overview
Overview:
The Pomsky, a charming designer breed, is a delightful mix of the intelligent Siberian Husky and the spirited Pomeranian. Originating in the early 2010s, their popularity rapidly surged due to their captivating appearance. Physically, Pomskies are typically medium-sized, weighing between 10-35 pounds, boasting a thick, fluffy double coat that comes in a wide array of colors and patterns, often resembling a miniature Husky. Their eyes can be a striking blue, brown, or even heterochromatic. Temperamentally, they are known for being playful, intelligent, and affectionate, often forming strong bonds with their families. While adaptable, their energy levels mean they thrive with daily exercise and mental stimulation. They can be suitable for families and even apartment living if their exercise needs are consistently met. Potential owners should be aware of possible health concerns common to both parent breeds, such as patellar luxation, eye conditions, and dental issues, making responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups crucial for a long, healthy life.
