Meet Verity — The Girl Who Should Never Have Been Overlooked Verity came to us as an urgent rescue — one of those dogs you just know deserves a chance, even when time is running out. And somehow, despite her bright eyes and bigger‑than‑life heart, she kept getting overlooked again and again. We still can’t figure out why. Because Verity is incredible. Barely a year old, she’s in that magical stage where she still has all the goofy, joyful puppy energy… but she’s also growing up, learning fast, and showing everyone just how special she is. She’s smart, she’s affectionate, she’s eager to please, and she lights up every room she walks into. There’s nothing “overlookable” about this girl. She’s the kind of dog who makes you smile without trying. Verity is ready for her person — someone who sees her, chooses her, and gives her the life she almost didn’t get. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
