Dog Breed: Husky / Collie / Mixed. Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location Meet Saul — now lovingly renamed Mickey by his foster family! Mickey earned his new name thanks to the adorable spot formation on his back that looks just like Mickey Mouse. And trust us — his personality is just as special as his markings! This sweet boy loves kids of all ages and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. He’s playful, full of personality, and always ready to push a few buttons in the most lovable way. He’s also a notorious sock thief… somehow they magically appear in his collection! Mickey is a big fan of hugs and cuddles and would happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. He walks well on a leash, is kennel trained, and while he may have the occasional kennel accident, he’s doing well with potty training and is fairly consistent about going outside. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but given his friendly and easygoing nature, we don’t anticipate any major issues with proper introductions. Mickey is sweet, playful, and ready to bring so much love and laughter to his forever home. Apply to adopt or foster at itvrescue All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

The Scottish Collisky is a cross between Rough Collie, Siberian Husky and some of them might have trace evidence of Samoyed from early in the breed development. The Scottish Collisky is highly trainable, energetic, intelligent and makes a great family dog. They have long thick coats and will require frequent grooming. Without regular brushing, they are prone to becoming matted easily.
