It was a heartbreaking, high-stress rescue that truly took a village to save her life. For a moment, we truly believed we were going to lose her… and we simply could not let that happen. Jessica R had already suffered so much. It was clear this gentle soul had been used for breeding, her puppies taken away from her, and then she was discarded like she didn’t matter — left alone in a shelter to face the unthinkable. Jessica R is a Pointer / Pit mix, about 4 years old, weighing 35 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Despite everything she’s endured, Jessica remains incredibly sweet, loving, and gentle, with a huge heart full of love to give. She is friendly with people and other dogs, and all she wants is to belong. This beautiful girl has known pain, loss, and abandonment — but she still trusts. She still loves. She still hopes.
