Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Pooh! Pooh first came to the shelter on 11/6/25 and was adopted on 11/29/25, but was later returned on 2/21/26. Pooh is a very friendly, people-loving girl who does great with both familiar and unfamiliar adults. She enjoys attention and companionship, and she also rides well in the car—starting off a bit excited, then settling in nicely for the ride.Pooh is an active dog with lots of energy and would thrive in a home that can give her space to run and regular exercise. She has a strong prey drive and loves to chase, so a secure yard and supervision will be important to keep her safe.She can be strong on the leash, so continued work on leash manners will help make walks more enjoyable for both her and her handler. With consistency and structure, she has the potential to improve in this area. Pooh has shown that she does best with dogs her size or larger and is not a good match for small dogs or cats.
