Dog Breed: Shiba Inu / Shepherd / Mixed. Shrimp is an approximately 1.5-year-old, 38-pound dog who is currently part of our Diamond Dog program, a designation given to dogs who have been in the shelter for over 90 days without being adopted. He came to us alongside his brother after their family was no longer able to care for them. Shrimp is a dog-friendly, sweet, and gentle companion who is eager to form a meaningful connection with his person. He is still building confidence and will benefit from a patient and consistent home that can help him continue to grow and thrive. With the right environment, Shrimp has the potential to develop into a deeply loyal and loving companion. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $75. Shrimp is ready for a fresh start and a home where he can truly belong. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
