Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (short coat). Location: Riverside, RI Nume 3yr old Spayed Female This sweet female blue heeler has had a pretty hard start in life but it doesn't stop her sunny disposition. She is 3 years old. She is spayed now but did have a litter of puppies about 8 weeks ago. This gal is very sweet and very laid back. She sort of just does her own thing and follow people around when she gets hungry. She would be a great candidate for nose work since she is always so busy sniffing things out in the yard. Or just cuddling on the couch or near your feet. She gets along with other dogs that respect her space. She has no problem telling a pushy dog to leave her alone before she trots away. If you are looking for a forever friend who is super chill and laid bac then look no further than this sweet baby doll. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
