Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Lower fee Millie, our 1 year old, 25 pound Terrier mix, is oh so sweet! She's smart, eager to learn, and patient with others. She gets bonus points for her cuteness factor. Yes, she is photogenic, but the pictures don’t do her justice! We may be a tad biased, but we think she's perfect. Make no mistake, Millie is 100% dog and enjoys the "finer" things of a dog’s life such as running around and sitting pretty for an extra cookie. But her absolute favorite thing in the world is a frozen Kong! (posted 2/22/26, Hope) Hope Dogs Lower Fees. Adoption $300.00, Transport: $100.00 Millie is one of our special Hope dogs, a program that you can read about here: .crossingpathsanimalrescue/adopt/hope-dogs.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
