Within hours, she brought seven incredible puppies into the world. Despite arriving with a healed broken tail and skin issues from a past of neglect and abuse, Clarice was the most devoted, patient mama. Now that her puppies have moved on to their own foster homes, Clarice is finally learning how to be a "puppy" herself. Every day, her true personality blossoms, and she is discovering that the world can be a safe, warm, and loving place. The Details on Clarice: Personality: She is a "velcro dog" who loves to follow her humans from room to room. While she isn’t necessarily a lap dog yet, she wants to be right by your side. Energy Level: She has the perfect balance! She gets the "puppy zoomies" and enjoys playing with toys, but she is not an overwhelming or high-energy dog. Training: She is 95% house-trained and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement. Being told she’s a "good girl" is her favorite reward! Other Pets: Clarice is a social butterfly. She gets along well with both dogs and cats. Children: She has been around young children and is very patient, generally choosing to calmly ignore them.
