Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Adoption Fee: 550.00. Meet Ryder! Estimated to be about 5 months old, Ryder is the perfect mix of playful pup and independent little gentleman. He’s got that happy, confident energy that makes every day feel like an adventure. Ryder is crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and seems to have house training down — which is pretty impressive for a young guy his age! He settles well and knows how to balance playtime with chill time. This handsome boy is very playful and loves to stay busy. Whether it’s exploring a new trail, tossing toys around the living room, or heading out for a neighborhood stroll, Ryder is always ready to go. He’s independent but still loves being part of the action. He’s just starting to learn his basic commands and is eager to please, making him a fun and rewarding pup to train. With consistency and continued guidance, he’s going to grow into an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a smart, playful, adventure-loving sidekick, Ryder is ready to pack his bags and join your crew. All of our adoption fees include veterinary exam, age appropriate vaccines (up to date at time of adoption) spay/neuter, microchip and deworming. Puppies $550 Kittens $200 Adult fees vary, please message our page.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
