Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Leahlani is a sweet young female Cane Corso pup with the most gentle heart. This beautiful girl is working on her crate training and doing great! She’s super dog friendly and absolutely thrives in play groups. She recently attended a large dog event and did wonderful — social, confident, and happy meeting new people and dogs. She is fine with cats and does well with kids, making her a very well-rounded pup. Leahlani has her playful puppy moments, but she is also very calm, easygoing, and loves to just hang out. Her play style can be dainty yet playful at the same time — she reads other dogs well and adjusts beautifully. Her best friend is a female Corso named Ariah. They share a run together and are only separated during feeding time. She would absolutely love a home with another dog to play with and keep her company — that’s where she truly shines. If you’re looking for a social, sweet, well-balanced young Corso who will grow into an amazing companion, Leahlani may be your girl. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
