In just one week in foster, he has already made incredible progress and continues to show what a special boy he is. Kairo absolutely loves affection, especially a good chest rub that sends his back leg going and his eyes closing in pure happiness. He is gentle, affectionate, and already forming strong bonds with his people. He has done great with the dog he has met so far, building a close friendship with his foster sibling and enjoying playtime, yard zoomies, and tug of war. He is learning quickly in all areas. His potty training has improved significantly with routine and praise, and he is getting more confident. Kairo is also adjusting well to leash walks and enjoys exploring while meeting new people and dogs along the way. At home, he is well-behaved for a puppy, enjoying his chew bones and taking corrections well. He has even figured out where the treats are kept and will patiently sit and wait for a treat when he comes in from going potty outside. He sleeps nicely in his own bed and is following the lead of his foster dog sibling. Kairo will need to be neutered when he is old enough, but he is otherwise ready to find his forever home. He is a kind, gentle, and eager to learn pup who would thrive in a loving family willing to continue guiding him.
