Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 350.. GALAXY and GEMINI are two stunning small lab mix boys looking for homes. They are teenagers, 8-10 months old, playful, silly and friendly. We're not sure about the "mix" part, but they're much smaller than lab pups at this age. They're basically Heinz 57 varieties-type mixes with labby faces. Galaxy is currently 30 pounds, Gemini is 27 pounds. They're probably close to fully grown, they should be nice medium-sized adult dogs. These guys are tough to tell apart, Gemini has a little bit of white on his chest. Other than that, they're basically twins. Gemini has a higher play motor than his brother. They love to run and romp in the yard. Each is best suited to a home where they will have a playful dog sibling and a physically-fenced yard. Gemini and Galaxy love toys and playtime. Like all puppies, they need homes with adopters willing to spend some time training them to become well-mannered family members. You can meet Galaxy and Gemini at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 1130am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
