Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 350.. GEMINI is a stunning small lab mix boy looking for a home. He's a teenages, 8-10 months old, playful, silly and friendly. We're not sure about the "mix" part, but he's much smaller than lab pups at this age. He's basically a Heinz 57 varieties-type mixes with a labby face. Gemini is currently 27 pounds. He's probably close to fully grown, he should be a nice medium-sized adult dog. Gemini is full of typical puppy shenanigans, he loves to run and romp in the yard. He is best suited to a home where he will have a playful dog sibling and a physically-fenced yard. Gemini loves toys and playtime. Like all puppies, Gemini needs a home with an adopter willing to spend some time training him to become a well-mannered family member. You can meet Gemini at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 1130am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
