ACE - ROTTWEILER DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Rottweiler. At the end of January we rescued Ace, FKA Cobb, from MCACC's euthanasia list. He was terrified, trembling all day and night in the back of his kennel. We knew we had to save his life. Thankfully, Karen with Dynamic Dog Training offered to bring him into her board and train. Ace has not disappointed and is becoming the best version of himself! Update 2/25/26 from his trainer: Ace is a gem. This boy was on the E-list for fear. Once out of the shelter he transformed reallly quickly. He is so sweet and has a funny sense of humor! He is training so quickly. He knows Come, Place, Sit, Down, Heel, and No. He can hold Place for 60 minutes. He was found as a stray and I soon learned he is a door dodger, he now has very strong front door safety and recall so he never runs away again. He is very loving and seeks affection. He is good in his crate. Initially, he had a little whining (separation anxiety) but that is gone now. He enjoys training and has shown no aggression. He was a little shy meeting my husband, but after one day he was slowly approaching for pets. On day 3 and 4 of seeing my husband, he was still approaching slow with a wagging tail. He's gotten so much more confident that he approached a worker that came to my house a couple days ago. Another great thing about Ace is that he is dog friendly and kid friendly. He's calm when you want him to be and he plays when you want him to. He really is like a buddy. He's never marked in my house. He's not destructive and sleeps with a blanket and doesn't chew it. We go hiking off leash and he's really good at sticking with the pack and his recall is 100%. He's great in the car and loves them! It would probably take you a week to see Ace at his best after adoption so you need to be patient with him. After that, he is so sappy and cute. The person who found him had him for two days prior to surrendering to the shelter: They said he eagerly approached women and children under 10 and hung out with their Chihuahua with no issues. Whoever adopts him must commit to continuing his training, plus commit to a 3 hour training session with Karen and using a mini educator e-collar. Karen will continue to support his training as long as needed! Adoption Process: If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out our adoption application which allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our Adoption Application by visiting our website at .rottenrottie, clicking on Adopt a Rottweiler Adoption Application, and submitting the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a PERFECT match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas.
