Dog Breed: Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie. Shelby the Sheltie is an absolutely incredible little dog with the sweetest soul. It&rsquo;s clear he was deeply loved by his person &mdash; sadly, his owner went into the ICU and had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him to their local animal shelter. Through no fault of his own, Shelby found himself starting over. Approximately 7&ndash;8 years old and just 29 lbs, Shelby is the perfect size and the perfect gentleman. He is very sweet, friendly, happy, and outgoing. He greets everyone with a soft expression and a wagging tail, and he does wonderfully with both people and other dogs. Shelby is the kind of dog who settles right into your heart (and your home). He&rsquo;s past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of joyful energy to share. Shelby is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines &mdash; and ready for a second chance at the loving home he so clearly deserves.
