Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Poodle (Standard) / Mixed. Meet Lala At just 7 months old, Lala the Labradoodle is all sunshine, wiggles, and puppy kisses! This sweet girl is full of playful energy and curious charm, ready to explore the world right alongside her forever family. Lala is as smart as she is adorable (and trust us—she’s very adorable!). She’s learning her manners and picking things up quickly, especially when treats and praise are involved. Like any young pup, she’ll thrive with continued training, consistency, and lots of love. With her bright mind and eager-to-please personality, she’s sure to blossom into an incredible companion. She loves playtime, belly rubs, and being part of the action. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or snuggling up after a fun-filled day, Lala is happiest when she’s with her people. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will grow with your family and fill your days with laughter and love, Lala is ready to meet you. Her forever home is out there—maybe it’s yours? We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogsccrcdogs with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at .ccrcdogs, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Labradoodle is a charming and increasingly popular hybrid breed, originating in Australia in the late 1980s with the goal of creating a guide dog for a visually impaired individual allergic to dog hair. This delightful canine combines the best traits of its parent breeds: the intelligent Poodle (Standard) and the friendly Labrador Retriever. Physically, Labradoodles boast a range of sizes and coat types, from wavy fleece to curly wool, often shed-reduced, making them a potential option for individuals with mild allergies. Their coats come in various colors, including cream, chocolate, and black. Temperamentally, they are known for being sociable, intelligent, and trainable, making them excellent family pets. They thrive on human companionship and require moderate exercise to stay happy and healthy. While adaptable, their energy levels mean they generally prefer homes with yards over small apartments, though daily walks are essential. Common health considerations, inherited from their parent breeds, can include hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain cancers, so choosing a reputable breeder is crucial for a healthy companion.
