A year ago, Jessica was found abandoned on the streets of Puerto Rico, huddled in a cramped space between a fence and a trash can. She refused to move, protecting a "secret" despite the rescuers' best efforts to coax her out. After nearly half an hour, they realized why she was so determined, she was shielding her three tiny babies. She had been thrown out with her litter, yet even in her darkest hour, was trying her best to be a good mother. About Jessica: Personality: Despite everything, Jessica is a happy girl, ready to leave the shelter life behind. Size: A perfect lap-sized 12-15 lbs. Status: Fully vetted, spayed, with all paperwork ready for her arrival on March 6th. After a year in the shelter and a lifetime of hoping for a loving family, it’s finally Jessica’s turn to fly to the mainland where a loving home is possible.. Can You Be Her Hero?
