With her bright eyes and bouncy personality, she’s always ready for the next adventure. Like any true Cattle Dog mix, she’s smart, energetic, and absolutely thrives when she has a “job” to do — whether that’s learning new tricks, going on hikes, playing fetch, or helping you tackle your to-do list (supervising counts, right?). She’s very playful and loves to stay busy, so she’ll do best with an active family who’s excited to keep her mind and body engaged. She’s still just a puppy, which means she’s at the perfect age to start training and grow into the most loyal, devoted companion. With consistency, love, and plenty of playtime, she’s going to be an incredible dog. If you’re looking for a smart, spirited girl who’s ready to work hard and love even harder, she might just be your perfect match. ✨ Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. To speed up the adoption process please visit our webiste, .mmahrescue, to fill out an application and get pre-approved when you arrive to meet your new best friend! Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience. Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
