Description
Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Meet Butler! Yes, like a proper gentleman. Yes, like he should be serving tea. No, he does not actually know how to do either of those things. Butler is a 6-month-old black pittie puppy who is currently experiencing his very first tour of Planet Earth. Itâs all very overwhelming. Vacuum? Suspicious. Doorbell? Absolutely not. That leaf that moved slightly in the breeze? Clearly plotting something. Heâs a little nervous right now, but can you blame him? Heâs only been here for six months and there are SO many sounds. And textures. And humans with hands that want to pet him (which he secretly loves, once heâs done pretending to be shy). Underneath the âwhat is happening???â face is a sweet, squishy baby who just needs a minute to process the chaos of existence. Give him a little patience and heâll reward you with soft eyes, wiggly tail taps, and the kind of loyal love only a pittie pup can give. Heâs not scared â heâs just new. And honestly? For his first time on Earth, heâs doing amazing.

Overview:
The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is a robust and intelligent breed, originating in the United States from crossbreeding Old English Terriers and Old English Bulldogs for dog-fighting purposes. Physically, they are medium-sized, known for their muscular build, broad heads, and powerful jaws, typically weighing between 30-60 pounds. Their coats are short and come in a wide array of colors. Temperamentally, a well-socialized APBT is often described as loyal, affectionate, and people-oriented, displaying a playful and sometimes clownish demeanor. They can be excellent family companions, provided they receive consistent training and early socialization, though their high energy levels mean they thrive with active owners. While they can adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise, a house with a secure yard is often preferred. Notable health considerations include a predisposition to hip and elbow dysplasia, allergies, and certain heart conditions.
