Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). #A5678257 Harold is a 1-year, 3-month-old neutered male Terrier mix with the most adorable tri-color markings and a truly unforgettable look. Weighing just 14 lbs, Harold has dainty, long legs, a graceful build, and striking “bandit-style” black eye markings that frame his sweet tan face and expressive eyebrows. Found as a stray on February 4, he’s been charming everyone with both his looks and his personality. Harold is curious, sweet-natured, and surprisingly poised — happily sitting quietly for photos like a little gentleman. Don’t let his calm moments fool you, though — he’s still a young pup with lots of energy. He can jump impressively high and moves with elegance and athleticism. Harold would thrive in an active home that can appreciate both his playful spirit and his affectionate side. -1 year, 3 months old, neutered male, 14 lbs; Microchipped -Terrier mix, tri-color coat -Found as a stray on 02/04/2026 -Dainty build with long legs and graceful movement -Striking “bandit” eye markings and black nose -Curious, sweet, and very photogenic -High energy; can jump high and needs activity -Friendly personality with lots of charm -Handsome little athlete ready for his forever home youtube/shorts/WlnftQUYoas For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lorunitedhopeforanimals ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
