Weighing 50 lbs, he was surrendered on February 13, when his owner lost their home. Like many Huskies, Woo Woo has a voice — and he’s not shy about using it. True to his name, he greets the world with a signature “woo woo” that perfectly matches his personality. Woo Woo is understandably a little wary of shelter life, but beneath that uncertainty is a sweet, expressive boy who just needs time to decompress. His pale nose and stunning eyes make him unforgettable, and his Husky spirit means he’ll thrive in a home full of adventure, activity, and connection. The Siberian Husky is a striking and beloved breed, originating from Northeast Asia where they were bred by the Chukchi people for pulling sleds over long distances in harsh conditions. Their temperament is typically friendly, outgoing, and playful, making them generally good with children and other dogs. However, their independent and sometimes stubborn nature, coupled with a strong prey drive, means consistent training and secure containment are essential.
