PET DESCRIPTION: Apollo is a 3-4 year old male Shorty Bully or Pocket Bully, very striking and too cute with his short compact legs and frame but he still weighs a solid 50 or so lbs so not a small dog - just short in stature. He was found out in our county sitting on a trash pile of a mattress and other items along with dog food so seems apparent someone discarded him like trash - which he is certainly NOT! He is a big goober, good with other dogs but also a LOT of dog in that compact body! He is VERY mouthy and will take treats like a hungry bear so absolutely no to young children. He also gets very physical when out playing and is the proverbial bull in a china shop who likes to run and do a sideswipe with his mouth too. Now can he be taught to tone it down? Of course, but you need to be up to the task as bully's can be, well - bull-headed. No doubt he is a lover boy and seems fine with both male & female dogs. No to cats as no cat would like him plowing them over. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.
