Description
Dog Breed: Cattle Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Hi there, we are Peanut Butter Cookie and Jellie and we are the cutest treats you will ever meet! We are female, 3 month old heeler mixes and we are still very little at about 7 pounds each, but we have a lot of growing to do! When we are full grown we will probably be between 25-35 pounds! We love to play and run around outside, we both think we are big girls and try to take on our big foster sisters! We don't mind rough housing but when we get tired we crash. We love snuggling with our foster mom. We are good with kids and other dogs, we have even met a grumpy cat who didn't like our sniffs very much but we were very respectful. We have lots of energy, and are looking for families that can take us on adventures! We love playing with our toys and especially anything soft and fluffy. We are spayed and working on potty training and we do well with regular breaks. We happily eat in our crates and are working on crate training. We are looking for a loving home that will work with us to help us meet our best dog potential! We know we have it in us to be amazing family pets or your best friend sidekick! If you think we might fit into your family, apply to meet us! Apply to meet me at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
