Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Black Mouth Cur / Mixed. *Name: Nala *Age: 6 months *Current Weight: 38lbs *Rescued from: Georgia, fostered in NY! *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Nala Nala is a beautiful young shepherd mix with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and so much potential. At around 6 months old, she’s still growing into herself and gaining confidence every day. She can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but once she starts to feel comfortable, you can see her sweet personality begin to shine through. One thing that helps Nala feel especially confident is other dogs. She absolutely enjoys having canine friends around and really seems to blossom in their company, which is why we feel she would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes. Nala enjoys playing, exploring, and being part of the fun once she settles in. She’s at that age where the world is still new, and watching her continue to come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding. Like many shepherd mixes, she’s smart, observant, and forms strong connections with the people she trusts. With a loving home and a little time to adjust, Nala has all the makings of an incredibly loyal companion. A little about her story: Nala and her littermates came from an accidental litter in rural Georgia. When their family was unable to keep all of the puppies, they were surrendered to a local shelter. Thankfully, Nala now has the opportunity for the future every puppy deserves. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption.
