Wicket is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ if a foster or adopter steps up for him Meet Wicket This pint-sized gentleman (just 10 lbs!) is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu with the biggest heart and the softest soul. Wicket’s story started with heartbreak — he was sadly dumped on the side of the road — but thanks to a kind person who stopped to help, his luck has turned around. Now safe and loved, he’s proving to be the sweetest little companion imaginable. He’s gentle, quiet, and affectionate, the perfect buddy for someone who wants an easy-going friend by their side. Wicket adores curling up in his dog bed, enjoys car rides, and has that classic Shih Tzu charm that wins everyone over. He’s still getting used to the grooming process (can you blame him after his rough start?), but he’s learning that pampering isn’t so bad after all. If you’re looking for a low-energy, loving little friend, Wicket would love to meet you — and maybe steal your heart Wicket is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
