Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Australian Shepherd / Mixed. Hi! I'm Luna, and I'm a 50 lb. fluff ball of pure sweetness! I'm a 7-month-old (as of March 2026) female Great Pyrenees and Australian Shepherd mix, which basically means I'm a beautiful blend of "guardian of the house" and "life of the party." Even though I'm still a puppy, I'm already a big girl with an even bigger heart, and I'm ready to find a family to call my very own. I arrived here with my brother, Leo. It's the usual story... but I'm a paws-itive kind of girl, and I know my perfect match is out there somewhere! I have that classic Aussie intelligence mixed with the calm, loyal soul of Pyrenees. I'm still growing into these fluffy ears, but I've already mastered the art of puppy-dog stare to get extra treats. I'm really looking forward to showing a new family just how much love I have to give. If you're looking for a gorgeous, smart, and loyal dog, I'm your girl.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Aussie Pyrenees is a striking hybrid that combines the herding instincts of the Australian Shepherd with the guardian nature of the Great Pyrenees. Originating as a designer mix, this breed is known for its large size, often weighing between 50–110 pounds, with a thick double coat that can come in a variety of colors including white, cream, brindle, and tri-color. Their temperament blends loyalty, intelligence, and protectiveness, making them devoted family companions who thrive in active households. While affectionate and gentle with children, they can be wary of strangers, so early socialization is important. Due to their size and energy, they are best suited for homes with spacious yards rather than apartments. With proper care, they enjoy a lifespan of 10–15 years, though owners should watch for potential health concerns such as hip dysplasia and joint issues common to large breeds.
