Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 395.00. Sweet Pepper was surrendered with 2 large dogs to a rural shelter in Alabama when they lost their person. She is sight and hearing impaired but has some sight and some hearing. She loves to snuggle with people. She lived with two large dogs, but does want her space. Due to her age and sight, children are not recommended. She would love a quirt home with one ro two people who will love to snuggle with her.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
