Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Mixed (long coat). Cosmos is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and is heading to NJ on 3/21. Meet Cosmos, the sweetest little 11‑pound Shih Tzu gentleman you could ever hope to meet At 9 years young, this quiet boy is everything you’d want in a loyal companion — leash trained, crate trained, obedient, affectionate, and happiest curled up on a warm lap or soft bed. He’s polite with other dogs, did great at the groomer, and is the perfect house guest in his foster home. Found as a stray, Cosmos is now ready to find his forever person — someone who’ll love his gentle spirit and that adorable little underbite that melts hearts everywhere If you’ve got room in your home (and on your lap!), Cosmos would love to be your cozy companion. Cosmos is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. His adoption fee is $300. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
