Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Beagle / Mixed. This little chonky sweetheart will capture your heart with her big brown eyes pleading for a snuggle! Ziva was surrendered by people who could not care for her and very much wants to find people who will love her forever. At 4 years old and 14 pounds Ziva is used to living in a home and could fit easily until most any environment - as long as snuggles are included! Ziva is currently fostered with another dog and getting along well. She is easy to walk on leash and enjoys taking her time with lots of sniffs. She appears to be housetrained and goes into her crate readily to settle down for the night. Ziva is brand new and we will update as we get to know more about her. PAW adopts to MD, DC, northern VA, and southern PA.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Cheagle is an endearing hybrid, resulting from a cross between a Beagle and a Chihuahua, offering a unique blend of both parent breeds. Originating from designer breed initiatives, Cheagles typically inherit the smaller stature of the Chihuahua with the slightly more robust build of the Beagle. Their physical appearance is quite variable, ranging from short to medium coats, often in colors like black, tan, white, or tricolor, and their ears can be erect or floppy. Temperament-wise, they are generally described as affectionate, playful, and often energetic, making them suitable companions for families or individuals. Their adaptable size makes them well-suited for apartment living, provided they receive regular exercise and mental stimulation. While generally healthy, potential health considerations include those common to their parent breeds, such as patellar luxation, dental issues, and intervertebral disc disease, making responsible breeding and veterinary care essential for a long and happy life.
