Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Jared is a happy, vocal guy who isnât shy about sharing his excitement - especially when he knows itâs time to get out of his kennel! Heâll greet you with some eager whining, but donât let that fool you - heâs actually very easy to handle and leashes up without any trouble. He walks nicely with little pulling and is more than ready to soak up all the attention youâre willing to give. This handsome boy is definitely treat motivated and already knows how to sit on command. He also has an impressive talent for catching treats midair! If you try and make him wait for treats, donât be surprised if he does an adorable little hover with his front feet lifted â he just canât contain his enthusiasm for snacks! Jared isnât too interested in toys, but he more than makes up for it with his love of people. He thrives on attention, and will happily lean into you for pets. Heâs also likely to hand out a few kisses or two! Heâs got a nice medium energy level â heâs content to explore and enjoy himself, but just as happy to stick by your side and soak up affection. With his affectionate nature, Jared is sure to bring lots of love into his future home.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Gerberian Shepsky is a hybrid of the German Shepherd Dog and Siberian Husky, emerging in North America as a modern companion with working-dog roots. Typically medium to large, they feature an athletic build, erect ears, and a dense double coat, often with striking blue or heterochromatic eyes. Their temperament blends loyalty, intelligence, and independence, making them affectionate yet occasionally headstrong. With very high energy, they thrive on daily exercise and structured training, suiting active families more than apartment living without ample outdoor time. Early socialization supports good manners with children and other pets. Notable health considerations include potential hip dysplasia and eye issues; regular vet care, weight management, and coat grooming help maintain well-being. Their typical lifespan ranges around 10–13 years, rewarding committed owners with a loyal, adventurous companion.
