Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Meet Tallulah (“Lulu”) - the dog who believes two tennis balls are always better than one. Lulu will proudly carry one toy in her mouth while pushing another around with her nose, fully entertaining herself until someone throws the next one. It’s impossible not to laugh watching her. At about a year old and 57 pounds, Lulu is a young German Shepherd with the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. She was found as a stray, but she’s quickly proving what a wonderful household companion she can be. She loves people and happily greets others and is dog, kid and cat friendly. Lulu is housebroken and she has gotten a quick education in the basic commands. She already knows sit, down, and crate, and she’s still learning the ropes but incredibly eager to please. She walks pretty well on leash (although she occasionally thinks she should be the one setting the pace and holding the leash). Lulu is fast, athletic, and loves to run, happily sprinting alongside her foster family’s 4-wheeler or chasing a ball across the yard. She would thrive with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures, playtime, and continuing her training. Because of her adventurous nature, a 6 foot fence is preferred. She’s still working on her recall! Like many young shepherds, she can be a little mouthy when excited, but she’s gentle, affectionate, and learning quickly with guidance. Most of all, Lulu is ready to be your loyal shadow, fetch champion, and daily adventure buddy. She’s just waiting for someone to throw the next tennis ball and show her what forever feels like.
