Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 250.. PWRESCUE.ORG Tam (Tamara) is a 1.5 yr, 50lb "scruffy" lab mix girl. She came to the rescue when her owners could not be found. Tam's young girl energy and willingness to play (fetch, tug, chase) is as big as her wanting to please. She is treat motivated so will be great to train. While she has not been tested with cats, our advice is no cats. She will be good with dogs her size or dogs able to hold their own. Tam will benefit from obedience training and hopefully "force free" as she has a wonderful, trusting personality. Being a young lab mix girl, she will need regular exercise (walks, runs, more than just throwing a ball in the backyard). She'll make a great hiking buddy.
