Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Puck, a terrier mix puppy born approx 12/31/25! Puck is a very energetic young boy. He has a wonderful brindle pattern of fur. He loves playing with his siblings as well as my other foster. He can be vocal at times with them to try to get them to play. He likes sitting in your lap and getting affection. He loves getting food and treats as well as chewing on toys and bones. He uses pee pads well and has simply lied down in the backseat during a couple of car rides. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$625.00

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
