Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed. ‘WINTER OLYMPICS’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 8 lbs. & growing Hi there! I’m one of the adorable Winter Olympics themed puppies who came to Mostly Mutts along with my mom and siblings when I was about 3 weeks old, thanks to a kind person who helped all of us get here safely. I’ve been growing and thriving in a wonderful foster home, and now I’m excited because it’s time for me to find a loving family of my own - one where I can enjoy lots of fun and love furever! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings and the other dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I’ve met some kids while in my foster home and liked them! Since I’m still in the mouthy stage of puppyhood, it’s helpful to have plenty of toys to trade so I can chew on those instead of nibbling on fingers. If you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a cute little puppy with a playful, curious, people-oriented and sensitive nature. I like seeking out human companionship and enjoying being near my people. I can be a little cautious in new situations, but I warm up quickly once I feel comfortable. I have good energy and am ready to explore our home by checking everything out. I can be a bit talkative with my classic Hound voice, so I’d likely do best in a house rather than an apartment or condo. I think I’d thrive in a home that provides reassurance, consistency, and continued training to continue building my confidence. / Energy level: currently 5-7 though this could change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / I’m doing pretty well with my crate manners, though there will likely be an adjustment with this in my new home. / I’m just a baby and at the very beginning of my potty training. I’ll need my new family to take me out consistently so I can learn my potty manners. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love playing outside with my people or another dog friend, and I enjoy all my toys. I’m happy to curl up for a cozy rest after a good play session and am also very curious and love exploring everything around me! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
